The Six years mission to photograph the Milky Way Galaxy.
the summer of 2020 was my first attempt at capturing. the summer of 2024, I had determine that what is stopping me from achieving greatness was due to light pollution and not operator error. But I doubt my own determination soecially because where I live, yes, there is light pollution but is not any where near the pollution in des moines. I went to Colorado for my army buddy's wedding and took the photo below. not only it was easy for the average person ,I hardly edited the photo, I didnt touch the colors, whatt you see is what it came from my Canon camera. if you know anything about astrophotography and specilly when trying to photograph the gaxaly that you have three nights per the summer months to try and qweather conditions need to perfwect. three nights becuase thas how long the moon takes to go to its next phase, no moon, claer skies, no humidity and far way from light sources suchs small town sand cities.
